PBL Quickstart

The one-day introductory workshop empowers teachers to bring Project Based Learning (PBL) to life in their classrooms.
PBL Quickstart

Workshop Description

  (Available after May 1, 2025)

Embark on your PBL journey! In this workshop, participants will discover why PBL should be the main course, not just the dessert. By exploring a Project Blueprint from our Project Library, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the elements that make Project Based Learning successful, from its structure to Core Routines that build culture and deepen student learning.

Facilitated by one of our expert National Faculty, PBL Quickstart is a balanced blend of direct instruction, video analysis, hands-on work, resource sharing, and peer collaboration. There will be activities that get participants out of their seats, opportunities to have fun with other participants, and independent time to work on project preparation. The workshop includes whole group work, small group discussions, reflection and critique, individual learning (with some voice and choice), and several built-in break times. Plan for a highly interactive learning experience!
