virtual care package

A virtual care package from PBLWorks to you! The phrase “more than ever” has been used so often this year. But during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 3-7), it truly feels more important than ever to send extra gratitude to the teachers in our PBL community.

Thank you, thank you for all that you do.

For your commitment to your students. For your enthusiasm for being a learner yourself. For working hard to reach more students with PBL.

For navigating what learning looks like in changing contexts: remote, in-person, and in between. For being your classroom’s go-to tech support, and for keeping the pencils sharpened. For the extra hours and extra heart that you invest each school week. For the long-term impact that you have on young people.

You make a difference each day through your teaching and your example.

This past school year—through all the challenges and uncertainties—our pride in you and teachers across the nation has grown exponentially.

Honestly, we’d throw you all a parade if we could. You deserve it! But in true 2021 style, we have something that can arrive virtually — and bonus: you can easily share with a teacher friend!

Here's a little "gift" for each day of this week. Just for fun – and to bring a smile to your day!

musicMONDAY: Cue the music...

A dose of music is always a great way to start the week. Press 'play' on some favorite Funk & Soul Classics or some mellow classical tunes to boost your mood or unwind your day.

jellyfishTUESDAY: Field trip!

Take a (virtual) field trip! Hop over to the aquarium livestream where you can be mesmerized by slow-dancing jellyfish and more...

mindfulWEDNESDAY: Take a mindful moment.

Rest up to recharge for the rest of the week. Check out a new-to-you app—like this one or that one, or these—to support your self-care and mindfulness practice. Or take 5 minutes to read a poem. (You might even share one with your students!).

coloringTHURSDAY: Color yourself creative.

Fact: Coloring isn’t just for kids! Print out one of these coloring pages (pdf), get out some crayons or colored pencils, and get in touch with your creative self.

excitementFRIDAY: Hip hip, hooray!

We ♥ Teachers. From all of us here at PBLWorks, here’s a virtual hug and a high five... and a happy dance! We can't wait to see you again soon.

To all the teachers in our PBL community: we’re so grateful for you!
