Brian Klippel
National Faculty member Brian Klippel has been in education for 14 years and has served in a variety of roles including teacher and school leader. As a current elementary school principal in Loudoun County, Virginia, Brian leads a PBL Design School where he works to ensure every child has access to authentic learning experiences, every day.
As an advocate for high quality instruction, Brian ensures authenticity, equity, and empathy remain at the center of every learning opportunity, while also fostering a school culture that allows students to make meaningful contributions to their community. Through this work, Brian continues to find new ways to expand Project Based Learning while infusing a variety of instructional practices such as social emotional learning, culturally responsive instruction, blended and personalized learning.
Brian's academic journey is marked by continuous growth and achievement, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Old Dominion University. His multifaceted background equips him to champion innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Brian's unwavering passion for ensuring that every child experiences high-quality, authentic education on a daily basis is a driving force in his impactful career in education.
